It feels very comfortable, not heavy at all, and reliable during every season.
I’m a diesel mechanic, I use a lot of tools throughout my day. Like, a lot of tools. But the number one tool that I always need in arms reach is a good pen. I’ve had plastic pens and stuff but they always end up smashed or leaking ink or whatever. I bought this pen hesitantly because it was more expensive than I would usually spend on a pen. But I tell you what, this thing is awesome and the cartridge it uses is easy to order replacements for through Amazon and you can choose different sizes, so if you don’t like the medium size that it comes in you can order a fine tip on Amazon. In addition to it being a great product the warranty is fantastic. The tip of my pen got crushed and I machined a new tip for it but it just didn’t work as well. So I sent in a warranty request and they had a new pen on the way in less than a week. Definitely recommend!
This is a great pen! The clicker function gets a little stuck at times and doesn't work as smoothly as the bolt action pens, but I still love it! Always a great product from you all at Ridge.
I was curious about this pen and the Basecamp Orange was on sale for like ten or fifteen bucks off. I write A LOT for work, all day pretty much, and have always used disposable pens. I should also mention that I am lefthanded so I am somewhat particular. I'll take it to work with me Monday for the final test to see if it smears when I write. Fresh pens/cartridges can smear at first but then be fine after a minute. This one has been okay for my quick tests at home. It is a little difficult to operate lefthanded, but that could just need some getting used to. Well, obviously I should have waited a few days to do this review because there are still questions that I would like answers to. Still, for now, I will say this is a nice pen. After a few days of using it I'll know if I will spend the money to get a colour I'd really like.
